I am a licensed psychologist in Texas and Colorado, dedicated to serving my clients with a compassionate heart. My expertise stems from a combination of education, specialized training, and experience. My approach is rooted in evidence-based strategies, ensuring that both assessments and treatment plans are grounded in the latest research to deliver effective results.

At the core of my practice is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a modality I’ve extensively studied through graduate coursework, supervised training, and direct mentorship from leading experts in the field. In addition to CBT, I have specialized experience in neurodevelopmental assessments, including evaluations for ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Learning Disabilities, and Intellectual Developmental Disorders.

I am deeply committed to understanding the whole person, and I believe in the power of the mind-body connection. This belief informs my therapeutic work, as I help clients become more aware of how their thoughts, emotions, and bodily responses are interconnected. I encourage mindfulness practices—such as meditation and yoga—as tools to promote self-awareness and emotional regulation, supporting lasting change and personal growth.

Whether working with individuals, families, or groups, I tailor my approach to meet each client's unique needs, always with empathy, integrity, and a commitment to their well-being.

When it feels too much

by Ari B. Cofer

if it gets too heavy, remind the earth of your footprint.
dig it into the soil so deep that mother nature holds your ankles with her roots;
be still. the wind is here to uplift you not uproot you and on this solid ground,
square your shoulders, raise your arms, and hold.
